Wow, the holidays really started off with a bang this year! Can you believe Thanksgiving is already behind us? With Christmas drawing close, it’s time to deck the halls and trim the tree. Here are some eco-friendly handmade ornament ideas to help you add a little DIY to your decorations.

1. Fabric Scrap Ornament

Grab some scraps from your stash, and you’re ready to sew your very own handmade ornaments! You can screenprint or use fabric pens to draw your design, then stitch and stuff your custom ornaments. Don’t forget to add in a little loop of ribbon or bakers twine before stitching to make hanging easy.

Bonus points if you stuff your ornament with teensy scraps and salvaged thread.
