Let’s admit it: this bird looks a little weird with no eye. My first instinct was to use a button for the eye, but even the teensiest vintage button in my collection was way too big for this little guy. Instead, I decided to do some super simple embroidery to add an eye. Here’s the finished product:
Since your design is probably going to be different from mine, your embellishments are up to you! Maybe some ric rac is in order, or you want to hand sew some beads or sequins to add a bit of bling. It’s all up to you and what’s in your stash, so get creative and have fun with it!
