    As a keen seed grower, I cut my plastic bottles up with pinking shears to make slug proof walls around tender young plants. I have found that they need to be at least 6 inches high to work effectively

  3. Aw man, I can tell you’re a cat owner. Using plastic bottles as a dog chew toy is a really dangerous idea, especially if you decorate the bottle. The dog will end up ingesting slivers of plastic (or whatever decorations you use) when they chew on it, which can lead to intestinal blockages and perforations. It’s basically an instant recipe for a $12,000 vet bill and/or a dead pet 🙁
