Sewing Room DIY Projects

It’s probably because I just completed a studio makeover, but I’m obsessed with finding little DIY ways to make my sewing room that much cooler.

Whether we’re talking about wrangling those pesky pins or organizing fabric, there are lots of ways to use our crafty skills to make our sewing rooms even more functional. Sure, you can opt for store-bought alternatives, but where’s the fun in that, right? Plus, when we make things ourselves, we’ve got total control over the tools and supplies we use. That means we can choose to thrift for second hand materials or buy recycled and organic components rather than picking up something made in China from new materials at the big box store.

Here are a few of the sewing room DIY projects that have been catching my eye these days.
