Insert a safety pin at one end of your drawstring, and feed it through the opened seam, all the way through the casing, and back out of the opened seam. Tie the two ends of the drawstring together, and you’re finished!
The possibilities for embellishing this design are endless, of course. I’m quite fond of labeling every single game, ballet, and button bag with a label done with freezer paper stencils, but you can also add buttons, lace, applique, or any other fabulous thing that you can think of.
