Craft Booth Ideas: Upcycle an Old Shutter into a Unique Display

I got two shutters from a garage sale and was eager to see how I could incorporate them into my booth. Using shutters as a display is not a new idea, but nevertheless, I wanted to give you a few ideas of what you could do in your craft booth with old shutters.

Display Options for Your Shutters:

1. Hang jewelry

Do you make and sell your own jewelry? Hang the earrings on the slats of the shutters! You could even use a clothespin to hang and display bracelets or necklaces.

2. Clothespin small crafts

If you sell crafts like I do, shutters are a perfect way to display those small crafts that are hard to draw attention to. I love how my shutters will hold my recycled paper brooches (pictured at the top)– getting them off an average table and catching the eyes of my customers!

3. Hang small baskets

Perhaps you sell even smaller items like thread, colorful clothespins, or buttons. If so, you can clothespin lightweight baskets to your shutters to hold your small items!

4. Clothespin paper items

If you sell handmade cards or photographs you could hang them up with clothespins like How Sweet It Is did! You could even clothespin your handmade business cards on the shutters!

What would you display on your shutters? Share your ideas with me in the comment section below or on our Facebook page!
