Organic Ribbon
Like thread, conventional ribbon tends to be polyester, but there are some organic ribbon options out there.
On Wednesday, I did a review of the beautiful organic cotton ribbon from May Arts. The ribbon, pictured above, is white with colored stripes, and it comes in lots of pretty colors.
If you’re looking for organic ribbon in solid colors, I found a couple of good options. Fiberactive Organics sells solid, hand-dyed ribbon by the spool. You can also find solid color ribbon at Near Sea Naturals in a couple of different widths.
