Upcycle Contest with Sublime Stitching

Need another reason to craft and possibly win pretty awesome prizes? If you’ve already entered the Threadless Loves Green T-Shirt Design Challenge, get ready to switch gears and get your upcycle on.

To upcycle all’s you need to do is take ordinary materials, craft left overs or items destined for the trash or recycle bin, and turn them into something new and better.

Once you do that, you can enter your new and improved crafty awesome into the Upcycle Contest with Sublime Stitching.

To enter submit a photo of your entry by April 27, 2009 to the Sublime Stitching Customer Gallery and label it with the word “Upcycled”. (For example “Upcycled Book Mark”)

If your upcycled goodness is chosen as a winner you could receive gift certificates from Sublime Stitching and Fred Flare, a copy of Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things, journals, a zine and more.

So take another gander at your recycle bin and see what you can create with a little bit more imagination and lot more craft.
