This recycled denim skirt tutorial, from Crafty Daisies, uses the entire waist of a well-fitting pair of jeans, allowing the skirt to have details such as a button fly, a zip front, belt loops, and front and back pockets, and you don’t have to sew them yourself!
This look can go crazy with the country chic, but you could also make a much more restrained version out of black slacks and black or grey fabric, for instance.
