Old Sweater + Organic Ribbon = Cardigan!

Got an old sweater? Turn it into a cardigan!

What? Who needs a cardigan in the summer? Everyone! It may be sweltering out there, but businesses seem to love pumping up the air conditioning in summer. Brr! I try to always keep a cardigan in my bag, so when freezing A/C strikes, I’m not caught shivering at the movies or the grocery store.

This v-neck sweater was a hand-me-down from my husband, who was cleaning out his closet. It was in perfect shape, but I think I shrunk it in the wash accidentally. D’oh! Since it’s not wool, it didn’t end up felted, which means it was a bit small on him but still totally wearable. I wasn’t super keen on wearing a sweater in July, though, so I decided to convert this sucker into a preppy cardigan instead. It’s going to look so cute with a tank top, pair of shorts, and my new red slip-ons!
