This is a giveaway from our partners at UPrinting. All opinions are 100% mine.
One of the trickiest parts of running a crafty business is finding eco-friendly promotional materials that are within your budget. That’s why I was super excited when UPrinting – the sponsors of this giveaway – approached us about their eco-friendlier business cards printing by UPrinting. UPrinting uses soy-based inks and 55 percent recycled paper in their business cards, and they’re offering up a pack of 250 cards with free shipping to one lucky Crafting a Green World reader!
Ready to enter? Here are the giveaway deets!
How to Enter
Remember to leave a separate comment for each entry, so that we can count them all!!
- Leave a comment here letting us know what you’d use the business cards for.
- Follow us on Facebook or on Twitter and let us know with a comment here. If you already follow us, that counts, too!
- Follow UPrinting on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+, and let us know with a comment here.
You can do one or multiple entries, and each one gets you your name in the hat. Just leave a separate comment here on the giveaway post for each entry to make sure they all get counted.
Prize Details
One winner will receive 250 die-cut business cards. There is a 6 business day turnaround on these cards, and they’re asking that we limit entries to U.S. residents only. Check out the options to choose from below!
Sizes and Design Options:
- 2 x 3.5″ Rounded Corners, 2×2″ Rounded Corners, 1.75×3.5″ Rounded Corners, 2×3.5″ Leaf, 2×3.5
- Rounded one corner, 2×3.5″ Half Circle Side, 2×3.5″ Oval, 2.5″ Circle
Paper Options:
- 14pt Cardstock Gloss / Matte / High Gloss (UV), or 13pt Cardstock Uncoated
- Front and Back Printing
As far as the paper options go, the uncoated cardstock is probably your greenest option, since when paper is coated, generally the shiny coating is plastic.
Thanks so much to UPrinting for sponsoring this giveaway! We will choose and announce a winner this coming Wednesday, September 12th.

I think I would use this to buy my 10 year old dd cards for her crafts. She sells her gifts at kids craft fairs throughout the year.
I liked Crafting a Green World and Uprinting on Facebook. I would use the eco friendly business cards for my artistic upcycled furniture business. We are doing our best to be an eco friendly business. We currently don’t have a website, but we do post on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/JT-Diamond-Ranch-Custom/165445826859248?ref=stream If you get a chance please come visit us.

I would use the cards for my Blessings Unlimited business
Ooooooh I’d love some business cards! I’ve just sent a few flat pack designs to a laser cutting service and am psyching up to starting a new eco-business!!!
I’m a freelancer so I need business cards – unfortunately I don’t like the last ones I ordered so I’m excited to try some from uPrinting. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’m doing unpaid work for a non-profit, and I’d love to have cards without the expense (since I’m only getting paid in good vibes and street cred).
I don’t currently have any business cards and could really use some.
I now follow @CAGW
Just beginning my upcycled crafts business and I only want to use recycled cards. What’s the point of asking folks to buy your recycled/upcyled crafts and then waste paper on glossy, looks-like-everyone-else’s cards? Live the change you want to see.
I would use the cards to put a face to my crafty bits so they can be marketed to be sold. It would be a huge step forward towards making my creations into a business.
I’d use the cards to promote my etsy store!
Hey there!
I have followed both you and UPrinting on Facebook. 🙂
I would use the business cards for networking. I am a brand-spankin’ new professional (degree LITERALLY hot off the presses) and I’m currently trying to find that first full-time position in the Library Science field. Having cards that can both represent me well as as an upcycler and a crafter will be a conversation starter with colleagues, and perhaps give me that litttttttttle bit of edge I need to break through!
Being a natural wellness~healing arts practitioner I focus on eco-conscious business materials. I would use the cards for my personal business and they would also be attached to the herbal products that are created from local, ethically wildcrafted plants.

That way I could “test” Uprinting first and then later order more from them, I am going through 250 pretty quick!
I liked you on facebook and twitter a while ago and just liked / followed UPrinting on FB and twitter.

I would use the cards for my blog. I used to have a home-based business (with business cards) but closed it last summer and haven’t gotten around to doing real (not home printed) cards for my blog yet.
I would love free eco cards to hand them out to various contacts. I am a face painting artist.
