DIY Fashion: Turn old sweatpants from boring to cute!

DIY Fashion: Skinny Sweatpants

Who says you can’t be comfy and look cute at the same time? These cozy, skinny sweatpants are my kinds of DIY fashion tutorial!

I wrote about the skinny sweatpants tutorial from Cotton and Curls over at our sister site, Feelgood Style, and I thought I’d be remiss if I didn’t share it with you guys, too! It’s kind of the perfect project for a lazy Sunday, isn’t it? Alter a frumpy pair of sweatpants, then lounge for the rest of the day in DIY fashion style!

This tutorial tells you how to make skinny sweatpants with a sweet ruched detail on the legs, but when I tested it out I skipped the ruching in favor of more coverage, because it’s freaking cold in my house. If any of you guys do the ruching part, I would love to hear how it worked for you!

Skinny sweatpants are just as cozy as an oversized pair, but you get to be comfortable and feel good wearing them! Come on, y’all, I know I’m not the only one with an oversized pair of comfy sweatpants that could use a little DIY fashion makeover…
