I worry about the art and craft supplies my kids use much more than what I use, even though I try to keep my own supplies as safe as possible. But when it comes to my kids I want to know their stuff isn’t full of toxins.
Clementine Art feels the same way that’s why they have created a line of safe art and craft products with kids in mind.
Clementine Art has safe markers, natural glue, natural soy crayon rocks, soy crayons (that are shaped for little hands to hold), really safe finger paints, and natural modeling dough.
If you have been looking for crafty safe art supplies for little ones Clementine Art is your answer. My little guy (who is 3) loves the crayon rocks. I love them because he can’t snap them in half like he always does with regular crayons. My daughter adores the shape of the natural soy crayons. Anything that differs from the norm she loves (and I love that about her).
I see finger paints, modeling dough, safe markers and glue fitting into some childrens’ Christmas stockings this year. These items will all make fabulous gifts for budding little artists.
I am really interested in seeing how the glue works-it is made from boric acid, natural bio-polymers, water and potassium sorbate. No dyes or chemical additives. Just natural glue. And the little site blurb says that it works on wood, paper, fabric and many other surfaces. Hmm…definitely got to try it out. I am in need of a good glue that holds without smelling up the whole house.
The other product that is a must have-the natural finger paints. I might have to get a set of these before the holidays so the kids can make hand turkeys for Thanksgiving and make hand print Christmas cards and wrapping paper (it’s a tradition).
You can read all about their ingredients on the site where they offer full disclosure of what is in each product: http://www.clementineart.com/?display=nitty_gritty
If you have little ones to shop for this holiday season then plan to add some of Clementine’s art supplies to your cart when you’re at a Whole Foods Market. I hope they’ll soon have an online store or be offered at some online retailers because Whole Foods is too far away for me to shop.
