Tips For Coloring Toy Story Coloring Pages
What colors should I use for Toy Story character coloring pages?
For accurate depiction, Woody’s hat, boots, and part of his shirt would be a good fit for brown color. His trousers are blue, his shirt is checked with yellow and red, and his hair is brown. Buzz Lightyear is primarily white and green with a purple head cover. Mr. Potato Head is brown with white arms and shoes.
How can I add more detail and realism to my Toy Story coloring?
Starting with a base color can help to add more detail. For instance, use light tints to emphasize the texture of the characters’ clothes and plastic bodies. Add shading for depth and lighter strokes for highlights. You can also use bolder colors for Buzz Lightyear’s buttons and switches to accentuate their neon light appearance.
What features of the Toy Story characters should I pay attention to while coloring?
Certain characters have key features that should be highlighted. Woody has a pull-string at his back, his sheriff badge and his hat are essential. Buzz has his specific space suit with spaceship wings while Mr. Potato Head has his interchangeable body parts. For all the characters, pay attention to their eyes since Pixar gives a great emphasis to eyes for showing character’s emotions.
Can you provide some interesting facts about Toy Story that I can incorporate into my art?
Toy Story is Pixar’s first feature-length film and also the first ever entirely computer-animated movie. The number “95” (seen on the Pixar’s character Lightning McQueen) is a reference to the year the original Toy Story was released, 1995. In your artwork, you can incorporate things like Buzz’s original packaging or depiction of Andy’s Room to make it more recognizable.
