They’re made by a dude named Noah. He’s really nice. And his doll shoes are AWESOME!

Get this–my kid can put her doll’s Bumblebee Mary Janes (which Noah gave us for free, except that I kinda wrapped them up, gave them to Syd for her birthday a few weeks ago, and took ALL the credit) on all by herself. This is major, Friends.

Felt is a pretty brilliant choice for doll shoes–it’s easy for kids to handle, washable, and doesn’t wrinkle, so the shoes slip on easily and look nice, and the kid’s not always bringing me a pair of doll shoes to put on her doll for her.

Because of COURSE a new pair of shoes deserves a matching outfit, I sewed this easy, free dress pattern from Skip to My Lou, using less than one fat quarter and maybe five seams to make the entire dress.
