2. Hanging Love Birds

This is sort of a project mashup. To make the birds, follow the bird sewing instructions for this bird mobile. Then, you’ll cut out and embellish your heart for the center using your favorite recycled felt and hand stitch the birds’ beaks to either side of the heart. To finish, use an embroidery needle to string bakers twine or embroidery thread through the birds’ backs, tie a knot, and you’re ready to hang!

  1. Go GREEN for Valentines Day! Ever see a plant move when you tickle it? The TickleMe Plant grows year round indoors, closes its leaves and lowers its branches when tickled. Here is an affordable, GREEN gift that anyone who enjoys plants, nature, gardening and science will love! My students, family office loves getting these for Valentine’s Day. Visit http://www.ticklemeplant.com to see a video of the live plant and to order your own. Much cooler than roses and you can grow the plant organically.

  2. Very nice post! However, if honesty then I liked the most the first picture, no matter that it is just the heart in the sand it somehow gives a feeling that it really comes from the heart, maybe because there isn’t involved material values in creating it!
