5 Recycled Soda Can Crafts

Soda Can Crafts

4. Soda Can Coasters by The Idea Room

Aren’t these the coolest coasters ever? The Idea Room takes your average coaster and kicks it up a notch with colorful soda cans and 16 cent tiles that she bought at the hardware store. Again, this would be a great gift for someone who loves soda! If you’re lucky, you could even find the tiles at a thrift store. I  just love all of the colors each soda has, and of course, I adore the fact that this project is so affordable! Perhaps you have some soda can tabs too? Click to the next page to see an incredible project you can create with them!

  2. I am now making cute Xmas tree ornaments from soda cans. Cut off the top and save, cut ‘petals ‘ or strips all around the can to the bottom, now punch designs onto each petal or strip. I then take the top of the can, cut out the center, cut small petals around then glue this into the center of the main ornament. I also punch tiny designs on the petals. Anyone wanting to see a photo, just leave a message.

    1. how do you keep from getting cut on sharp edges? I was looking for a tool that would crimp and roll the edges of alum. cans but having trouble finding one.? Thanks.
