Eggs are a staple food in most households. Families can easily go through a carton or two a week and that can add up to a lot of cardboard or styrofoam. Some grocery stores offer eggs in bulk so you can reuse your cartons. If you aren’t able to buy your eggs this way, you’re bound to be looking for ways to reuse the leftover cartons. I buy eggs at my local farmer’s market, and most of the egg vendors will reuse egg cartons! If they get one from a different vendor, they just put their own sticker over it. This might not be allowed in all markets, but it’s worth checking.
When I was a kid one Halloween I dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. My mom made most of my costume, including the crown which was from an old egg carton>:)
