Fab Fabrics: LIVE Textiles

Live Textiles Room ViewI cannot believe we haven’t covered LIVE Textiles yet in our Fab Fabric series. I found them a while ago, but my interest was reignited when I saw some of their new prints for sale at Near Sea Naturals.

Live TextilesThe LIVE Textile fabric range is quite extensive for an eco-friendly fabric collection. They have broken up their prints into a traditional set and a contemporary set to offer something for everyone. From toiles to damasks and geometrics to organic forms you won’t be dissappointed. LIVE Textiles is a wholesale only business, but fabrics can be purchased by the yard from Near Sea Naturals. On a side note, if you are looking to purchase fabrics wholesale they now offer color customization of some of their contemporary plaids and stripes.

Live Textiles was founded in 2007 by a group of women with backgrounds in design, art, and biology. This mix of backgrounds solidified their desire to produce beautiful textiles healthy for you and the environment. All the fabrics are digitally printed using water-based inks in the USA. The digital printing process is more eco-friendly than conventional printing by minimizing waste, power consumption, and emissions, and ultimately produces fabrics that emit no VOCs. Prints are available on a variety of sustainable base fabrics including organic linen, organic cotton, bamboo linen, and hemp.
