Dye as usual, dropping the entire package right into the dye bath.
If I’m going to get out the dye pot, I’m usually going to make a big production of it, and so I’ve usually got several different scarves with different color schemes going at the same time, putting them in and out of the dye bath as the color applies to them, as well as single scarves that I’m dyeing all one color, and a few felted wool balls, to boot.
It’s one of those good rainy day activities, since the dye pot is probably going to be in action ALL day.
