The cold weather is keeping a lot of us indoors. Cabin fever easily sets in this time of year since we can feel spring is so close yet so far away. One cure for this is to try and make your home as cozy and inviting as possible. Small furniture makeovers are a great way to keep your mind and hands busy while creating a home that you don’t mind being holed up in. Here are five small furniture projects you can do indoors, using some safe and natural materials, while you wait for spring.

  1. I especially like the chair makeover. I asked a fabric showroom I often use if I could have samples when they are discontinued and just got a great big stack of amazing velvets from them. I could see using that on a chair project like you have posted here.
