Fab Fabrics: Raid Your Scrap Bin….Again!

We rounded up a bunch of fabric scrap projects back in April, but somehow that scrap stash just keeps accumulating!

Sure, all of those leftover bits and pieces can be a pain to store, but they’re also an awesome resource for fabric that’s basically free! Here are just a few more ideas for ways to incorporate those sweet scraps into your crafty projects:

Of course, there are a ton of other uses for those tiny pieces of fabric. What are some of your favorite uses for scraps?

  1. I love fabric, the feel, the smell, the sense of creative possibilities. I have the hardest time throwing away scraps of fabric, the designs are just so beautiful. I commend the fabric saver for appreciating the usefulness of tiny pieces of fabric, instead of discarding them to rot and decay in a landfill. I have found a great use for little pieces of fabric, (the ones that don’t get used as doll house lines for my little girl). I started painting the designs from the little scraps, enlarging their image on canvas, or more recently for jewelry. It’s been a great use for those gorgeous designs that I can’t seem to part with.

  3. Me too, I hate to throw away bits that might come in useful. It’s amazing what you can do with even really small pieces of fabric, the ideas are endless and thanks to sites like yours there is an infinite sea of inspiration to tap into, too. Happy Creativity everybody!
