Make It Ruby: A Crafty Site Just for Girls

Make It Ruby is a fun site geared towards girls who love to make things. It is full of ideas, craft projects and easy how-to’s to spiff up your space, decorate your room, or help plan a party.

Ruby is all about being eco-friendly and makes sure all of her projects start with one of her favorite R’s- Reuse, Renew or Repurpose.

I love her Carbon Footprint Tennis Shoe Project. She turns an old tennis shoe into a cute planter that can be used for a plant or small tree seedling. It would make a great gift. The water bottle piggy bank is too cute and perfect for my girl who loves little piggies. And Ruby’s green holiday gift wrap is a very nice eco-project that can be used for any gift wrapping occasion.

If you have a girl who loves to craft and is into to being eco then direct her to Make It Ruby where she can become a free member and have access to all the fun projects available there.

love the Make It Ruby sight!…..I’m an art teacher and use this sight to get new and fresh ideas for the kids. Great sight and I love that they are eco-freindly. Makes it easy for me to find extra material for the kids around the house or at good will =)

Is there ever anything like that for boys?
