What would you post on a Crafting a Green World Forum?

green crafts forums

We’re building a green crafts forum for you guys, and we want to know what you want! Check out the poll below to tell us what you’d use a CAGW form to do.

Crafting a Green World is part of the Important Media Blog Network (IM, for short), and here at IM, we’ve had some big changes recently. The biggest change is that Scott Cooney has stepped in in a leadership role, and he’s working with a lot of the site directors on our wish lists. One thing that’s been on my wish list for CAGW for a while is a forum, and I think it’s finally going to happen!

We love sharing project ideas, green craft supply finds, and eco-friendly crafting tips with you, and we will keep doing that in this space. The forum is going to be in a separate area on the site, so if you’re just interested in reading, not much should change for you. We are big believers around here that crafting is about community, though, and what we envision is a place where you guys can not only swap tips and ideas of your own but also swap and share craft supplies. Sharing is one of the greenest ways to get your hands on craft supplies, and I very much want to facilitate that!

The forum development is still in the early stages, and since we’re building this thing for you, we want to hear from you! If you have a moment, we’d love for you to fill out our poll about the forums:

  2. I need to sell (at incredibly inexpensive prices) hundreds of rubber stamps, thousands of stickers, scrapbooking papers and albums, Sizzix dies, craft magazines and books, embellishments, and too much more to list. Does anyone have an idea of how I can do this (a garage sale wouldn’t get these mostly-new products into the hands of crafters) that won’t cost an arm and a leg to post? I tried etsy.com and even Craigslist, but got no responses!
