How to: Make a Tank Top from a T-Shirt


Add two straps made from the scraps (I made these by cutting out the already finished hemmed sleeves) and Ta Dah! You made a tank top!

  1. This is so pretty! I’m usually not a fan of chopping up tshirts as a lot of customizing techniques for them give a really gappy, frayed look (cool if you like that, but just not my thing), but this is a truly lovely one ๐Ÿ™‚

      Depending on the color and the print, this can work very well under a sweater.

  2. on the third picture I didn’t understand what to do…”Shir” means what exactly? is it just straight stitches you did? It’s a great looking project that I can’t wait to try out ๐Ÿ™‚
