Four Looms You Can Make From Recycled Materials

A Couple Of Projects To Get You Started

On Weave Zine, follow the thorough instructions on creating “plarn” and the different weaving projects you can do with it. If you have a lot of fabric scraps laying around you can try weaving this rug found on Craft Passion.

These are just a few projects to get you started in weaving. Have you ever done any weaving on a loom made from recycled materials? If you use a store bought loom, would you consider trying one of these out? I would love to hear about any weaving projects you’ve done and get some more tips and projects. Feel free to leave any comments or links.

  1. Very eco-friendly project huh! Hhmmm! Very cool idea too! I might want to try that one as well, especially when I’m traveling and I can’t bring my floor looms on the road. Thanks for this post!
