10 Eco-Friendly Kids' Crafts for Summer

Summer is here and your kids are out of school– now what? Here are 10 eco-friendly and fun kids crafts to keep them entertained!

1. Recycled Cardboard House by Charcoal and Crayons

If you happen to have a large cardboard box, or if you ask for one from a local store, you can create this cool cardboard house for your little ones! Houses like this can inspire creativity, imagination, and role-play. You could even let your kids decorate the outside with recycled paper, paint, or crayons/markers.

2. Mix and Match Painted Rock Faces by Teach Beside Me

Teach Beside Me painted different rocks with eyes, mouths, and noses so that her children could put them together to make faces. They even used leaves and other outdoor items to make hair on the faces, too! This is a great way to explore emotions and talk about parts of the face.
