Call for Artists: REPURPOSE Art Show in Eastern Massachusetts

REPURPOSE Art Show

Northeastern green crafters! Are you looking to add a show to your spring craft market schedule? The REPURPOSE Art Show in Eastern Massachusetts is looking for eco-friendly crafters for their upcoming show.

The market is from April 18 through May 31, but don’t fret: you don’t have to man a booth that whole time. For this show, you drop off your handmade wares, and when the show wraps, you pick up what’s left, and they cut you a check for your sales. I have to tell you, this is one of my favorite formats for a craft market. You don’t have to worry about merchandising, taking credit cards, or popping a tent!

They’re looking for all kinds of art, from fine art pieces to upcycled crafts, and the deadline to apply is March 29, 2013.

If you’re interested in applying to this show, you can get some extra deets on their Facebook page, and we’ve got their application info right here for you, too!

  • Application deadline: March 29, 2013
  • How to apply: Email high-res photos of your work to Merritt Kirkpatrick, mkirkpatrick@ne-arc.org, and include a brief description of each piece along with your name, your email address, and your website
  • Fee: There is no application fee, and ArcWorks Community Art Center keeps 30% of all sales in the gallery, so it’s basically a 70/30 consignment split

They’re asking that applicants reside in Eastern Massachusetts, since you’ll be dropping off and picking up your work.

Are you planning a craft show and looking to add more green crafters to your lineup? We’d love to share it with our readers! Send us a note through the site’s contact page with all of the deets, and we’ll help you spread the word!
