How To: Create Upcycled Splatter Paint Art

While working on the Upcycle a Guitar into Art post, I used an old cardboard box underneath it while painting. When I posted a sneak peek of the project on Instagram, my friend suggested turning the cardboard box into upcycled splatter paint art. So, I did!

I have quite a collection of embroidery hoops, and I've done projects like Embroidery Hoop Easter Eggs and Embroidery Hoop Pumpkins. Even so, I bought more embroidery hoops at a garage sale in order to make colorful wall art pieces for my craft booth. Here's the first one that I came up with!

Recycling Christmas Cards: Framed Art

While visiting family this week, I noticed my mom received a stack of Christmas cards from family and friends. She had a genius idea that I just had to share! Several of the cards had beautiful graphics that weren't too "Christmasy" and were worth saving, so she decided to frame them!
