Did you guys know that Crafting a Green World is part of a whole network of awesome, environmentally-focused blogs? We are part of the Important Media Network, which means that we get to work with some great writers in areas ranging from ethical beauty products to sustainable food to solar power. We call the other sites on the Important Media Network our “sister sites,” and this week we’re introducing you to a couple of the sister sites that we work most closely with.

First up is Feelgood Style, where I am a writer. Liz Thompson is my editor over there, and she is a natural beauty superstar. She was kind enough to answer a few interview questions about herself. Get to know Liz!

1. Hi there! Why don’t you introduce yourself to our readers?

Hi! I’m Liz Thompson, Site Director/Editor at Feelgood Style. My two children, husband and I live in the Midwest and, I’m proud to say, my kids can spot a greenwasher a mile away. I’ve been writing on organic beauty for almost a decade now and am more passionate about healthful living than ever. To me the term natural beauty covers more than nontoxic cosmetics and personal care (though those are super important). It is also about healthy diet, exercise, enjoyment, and mindfulness.

2. What can folks learn about at Feelgood Style?

At Feelgood Style we cover natural beauty, sustainable fashion, DIY ideas, healthful living tips, and anything else eco style. We do lots of reviews, but to us eco style is more than just which products to buy. It is about incorporating healthy habits into your lifestyle that not only work for you, but make you look and feel great too.

3. Can you share some of your most popular posts?

Animal Rights is a topic that gets a lot of attention on FGS. Two posts in particular are Human Undergoes Animal Testing for Animal Rights and Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones: Animal Rights Advocate. What Your Acne is Telling You and Natural DIY Solutions to Combat Blemishes is also a hot post. How to Get a Vegan Meal Anywhere is a relatively new post but has been a very big hit.

4. What’s one little-known fact about Feelgood Style?

DIY is hot! Have you considered making your own beauty products? Clothing? Handbags? Home décor? Well our writers have (and do!) so stop by and check out our vast DIY section full of awesome ideas, helpful tutorials, and handy tips. I am constantly amazed at what these ladies come up with.

5. Where else can readers find you?

You can follow Feelgood Style on Facebook and Twitter, plus we are gathering a following at Pinterest now too. We’d love to see you there!

Thank you for letting me introduce myself and Feelgood Style to you and your readers today. We’d love to hear from you too! Please chime in at the site or on one of our social media profiles and let us know what you think.
