DIY Recycled Weaving Looms

Interested in weaving? Don’t want to spend money on a loom? Got some random stuff lying around?

Chances are that there’s a DIY loom for you. Handmade looms, built from a variety of recycled materials, can be used to weave everything from friendship bracelets to area rugs. Most of these looms are kid-friendly enough to serve as a summer camp activity, and all of them are made from stuff that you should be able to find or freecycle.

For bonus points, upcycle your own yarn, too, from newspaper or plastic bags or T-shirts, and make the entire project an upcycled one.
