To Do: Grow Your Crafty Business

Do you have a green crafty business? One of the hardest parts of running a green business – after sourcing ethical materials – is marketing yourself and your crafts. You can make the most beautiful organic dresses or upcycled jewelry in town, but if you’re not spreading the word about them effectively, chances are no one is going to know.

I’ve found that green crafters seem to have a harder time with marketing. My theory is that the same humbleness that drives ethical crafters to care deeply about the environment makes them a little bit shy about tooting their own horns. Does that sound like you? If so, the awesome folks at Hello Craft are hosting a webinar this coming Tuesday, April 30th that can help! You can also check out my list of tips for marketing your crafty business!

Work It: Handmade Business

The webinar is called “Work It: Handmade Business,” and the speakers are indie biz heavy hitters Grace Dobush, author of The Crafty Superstar Ultimate Craft Business Guide and Spoonflower co-founder Stephen Fraser. These folks are pros at not just running an independent business but spreading the word about what they do to reach real customers.

The webinar costs $5, and you can register right here to attend. The best part? The $5 registration fee benefits Hello Craft, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting handmade artisans!
