painting with Earth Paint for Children

If you know any kiddos who enjoy painting, and you’d like to provide them with some special materials–say, an organic, eco-friendly, earth- and mineral-based paint set–then you’re in luck!

Read on to enter a giveaway for one set of Earth Paints for Children:

painting with Earth Paint for ChildrenEarth Paints for Children is a natural, artificial chemical-free paint set. It’s good for kiddos’ skin, healthy for the environment, and (I say this because I’m a homeschool nerd and I look for the educational in everything), since it mimics the materials that our distant ancestors used to paint on cave walls thousands of years ago, it’s a fabulous hands-on history project.

Earth Paint is giving away one set of their Earth Paints for Children kit (for more info, read my review of the Earth Paints for Children kit) to one lucky reader in the continental United States. To enter, read through the rules below, and please note the following:

*In order to win, you must provide a current email address in the form (not the body of the message) when you comment. We don’t sell your email address, and it’s the only way that Earth Paint can contact you if you win.

*You may utilize as many or as few of the ways to enter as you’d like. Remember to leave a separate comment for each entry, or the Random Number Generator can’t count your entries.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Leave one comment on this post telling us about an eco-friendly art or craft that you like. You may comment once a day for the duration of the giveaway.
  2. Like Earth Paints on Facebook, and leave one comment on this post telling us that you Like Earth Paints.

I save our toilet paper roll tubes and from time to time let my kid go to town on a bunch of them with scissors, markers, etc. Then eventually they go in the recycle bin

I haven’t done much “green” crafting yet, as I don’t have small kids yet, but I’m excited about reusing everyday items, like TP rolls, tubs, boxes, etc. for whatever makes them happy!

What a Fantastic website you have. I will love to continue checking in to get inspiration for my students. I teach art to K-12 grades and I am determined to inspire these young creative minds to REthink about throwing things away and instead think about REpurposing just like you do on here =) Cheers!

We like to do nature collages and my son built a cool little boat out of twigs, twine, and other stuff he found in nature.

Hi! I liked both pages at Facebook and am sharing the link too. Our dd’s fave art activity are drawing and painting. I am intrigued by the earth paints concept. Will they *really* produce the vivid wet-on-wet effect a la Waldorf? I love the idea they are like those ancient cave paints.
