Whether you’re planning an intimate evening with your sweetie, a big Valentine’s Day shindig with friends, or just like getting your holiday decor on, there’s no reason to hit the party store for mass-produced decorations. Not only do handmade Valentine’s decorations have more heart, if you make them yourself, you can choose eco-friendly materials.

  1. Go GREEN for Valentines Day! Ever see a plant move when you tickle it? The TickleMe Plant grows year round indoors, closes its leaves and lowers its branches when tickled. Here is an affordable, GREEN gift that anyone who enjoys plants, nature, gardening and science will love! My students, family office loves getting these for Valentine’s Day. Visit http://www.ticklemeplant.com to see a video of the live plant and to order your own. Much cooler than roses and you can grow the plant organically.

  2. Very nice post! However, if honesty then I liked the most the first picture, no matter that it is just the heart in the sand it somehow gives a feeling that it really comes from the heart, maybe because there isn’t involved material values in creating it!
