Did you get any fun gadgets over the holidays but need a case to prevent scratches and dings or some accessories to deck them out? You can use your crafty skills to make fancy accessories for all of your gizmos!

1. Toaster Pastry iPod Cozy

Oh, iPod! I love how you keep me connected wherever I go but hate how scratched your screen gets when it meets my keys in my purse. Luckily, the folks at DIY have you covered (literally!) with a simple case that looks a toaster pastry!

    The iPod case looks cute and easy to make. I think that I would add some machine embroidery to the case, and omit the beads. Apart from being quicker to make, I would worry that the beads might become detached and rattle around in the bottom of my handbag.
