Reader Project: Natural Pencil and Crayon Caddy

Reader Nicola Alesandrini gave us a heads up about a super cute, green craft project she just finished up.

Nicola writes:

I made an eco friendly craft I thought you and your readers might be interested in. It is a natural wood pencil/crayon caddy for kids or artists. […] I am giving one away this week, as well.

She made the caddy out of found wood from fallen eucalyptus trees at her daughter’s school and her husband’s drill press but says that, “a hand saw and a power drill (with the bit marked for depth by wrapping it with tape) would work just as well.”

For more details on the project, including how to win a completed caddy of your very own, check out Nichola’s blog. You can enter to win until Friday of this week!

If you’ve got a green craft project of your own that you’d like to share, hit us up at craftingagreenworld@greenoptions.com! Please include a photo with your submission.
