Great to know that you enjoy gardening! Also nice ideas for an aesthetic garden! Gardening is fun but we also need to watch the amount of water that is consumed. http://j.mp/2hBEww will give you some tips to plan for a water-wise garden!

I had wanted to order a variety of seeds for plants that make good fabric dyes, but didn't get to it. It's on the list for next year. I did plant beets though, which will work, and some apple gourds for birdhouses, lavender, and german chamomile for tea making.

If I can find any seeds in the next week or so, I'm thinking about planting some loofa (they're gourds, I think). Also, bamboo would be great.

I haven't got into it yet (it's still on the To Do list!) but there's plenty of plants that can be useful for papermaking :)

Such a cool idea! Hadn't thought about gardening things with crafting in mind. But I do love the concept of creating a beautiful garden that produces food and other resources on top of looking pretty.

I have lavendar growing around the tree in my front yard a very pretty garden pest deterrant. I dried it and made sachets for my closets. I have mint and chive in pots on my patio. I'll plant more herbs once I get my raised garden bed in the front yard. I made the border from recycled bricks! http://condo-blues.blogspot.com/2009/05/make-garden-border-out-of-old-bricks.html
