Very good promo gimmick! Great that is, until I read Tania's comment. Disappointing that they don't walk their talk.

I just got alcohol based hand sanitizer from this supplier. They seem to be a great source for any one needing hand sanitizer products.

I'm disappointed that you ran this story on your otherwise accurate and informative site.
Here are a few reasons why I object to this:
- Nedbank do not have a facility for sending statements by email (FNB does). So you get lots of paper in paper envelopes sent by snail mail - all NOT green.
- Nedbank do not think before they post. I run a small business and have several accounts with Nedbank. When they send out brochures (on highly glossy un-green paper), we get about 14 of the same. Do they stop to think about the fact that all the credit cards are linked and one brochure might suffice? No.
- Nedbank have a particularly un-green policy of posting me a BLANK statement. Nothing on it - just a zero amount for a DEBIT card. Debit cards do not normally receive statements (I've been collecting them now as proof)
Nedbank is not green. Their ad spend is just bigger.

What a great statement! It's good to see business getting into the green movement. I was looking at Nedbank's website, and it's really commendable how they created The Green Trust program - They're truly green indeed. They can even take it a step further, and give incentives like better loan interest rates to green companies.
